North Macedonia to issue updated notes from 2020

The National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia has announced that all future banknotes will show the new name of the country: Republic of North Macedonia.

Previously known as Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia the country recently changed its name to Republic of North Macedonia after years of debate between the Republic and Greece. The National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia will modify its banknotes from 2020 to reflect the change.
